The Watchtowers

Digitally painted watercolor, inspired by and made for Munknörr's EP album music video: The Path to Alfheim.
The displayed artwork is a static recreation of a specific scene from the videoclip, which depicts an artistic journey through the fantasy world evoked by the atmospheric and epic music, in a painterly style.

This scene comes right after a dark interior scene inside a cave accompanied by a fearsome melody of suspense. As "the camera" steps out of the obscure environment, that song ends and with a sense of freedom, fresh air and a new dawn rising, the last song of the EP album gently starts, slowly transitioning from a calming lyre into an epic score. Then, a chain of magic lights through the distant watchtowers signals something is about to happen.
