The Shaman

Character conceptart and animation of the shamanic figure appearing at the end of Munknörr's EP album music video: The Path to Alfheim.

The Shaman appears right after the most chaotic scene where the hateful dragon (reference to the nordic mythologic creature Nidhogg) rains fire upon the earth. Ashes and ruin cover the entire frame until this character slams his staff onto the ground through a ritual of meditation which seems to heal the surroundings.

Yet, a melody as peaceful as nostalgically sad, tells us the chaos is over... but, at what cost? Bringing the question up: was this a healing ritual, a prophecy of the future, or mere visions of a distant past? Visions of a little prophet that couldn't save but her own self.
