Nornir

The Norns and the Web of Wyrd. Album cover for the nordic folk band Munknörr and their single release Nornir. The artwork was also animated to accompany the song on YouTube.

In Norse Mythology the norns live under the roots of the ash tree Yggdrasil, there they weave destiny. Each person's life is a thread in their loom, and the length of each rope is the length of that person's life. Even the gods have their tapestries...

Perthro ("ᛈ" as seen at the ending) is the rune associated with them, as it deals with the unknown and the mysteries within the #runes themselves. It allows to intuit original knowledge about them that may have been suppressed, destroyed or incompletely passed on over the centuries; becoming aware of the hidden and relatively fixed workings of the deep law of cause and effect, which in turn gives the ability to see into the unmanifest and peer into the unknown. This is wyrd.
