Harmony

In this painting I wanted to illustrate the harmony of embracing the ups and downs of life; to accept the cycles in harmony; to live in plenutude, which is what we should chase instead of happiness -which is ephemeral and depends on external circumstancial facts-.

I started with the waves because of the importance of muffling each crest and trough, as if surfing life. Then focused on the seasons cycle and let creativity flow through me. An overall sense of peace and calm was the goal; I knew I wanted a color palette evoking life and nature as the shapes depict the geometrical origins through organic imperfection.
